The following video shows how to use the CData ODBC Driver for Google BigQuery to connect to Google BigQuery as an ODBC data source and work with tables. You will use the Data Connection Wizard in Excel to pull data into a spreadsheet. The video shows how to complete the following procedure:
- Create a dataset in Google BigQuery.
Obtain the credentials needed to authenticate to Google and connect to your account.
Google BigQuery uses the OAuth authentication standard. In the video, you will obtain the necessary OAuth credentials.
- Specify your credentials in a data source name (DSN).
You can connect to the ODBC data source for Google BigQuery by specifying the DSN.
