MySQL のFederated Table としてAccess のデータを連携利用する
SQL Gateway とODBC Driver を使ってAccess のMySQL Federated Table を構築する。

こんにちは！ドライバー周りのヘルプドキュメントを担当している古川です。
SQL Gateway を使って、MySQL リモーティングサービスを作成し、Access のMySQL Federated Table を構築できます。CData ODBC Driver for Access のMySQL インターフェースのdeamon になります。サービス起動後、MySQL のFEDERATED ストレージエンジンを使ってサーバーおよびテーブルを作成します。Access のデータ をMySQL テーブルのように使いましょう。
Access のデータへの接続
If you have not already done so, provide values for the required connection properties in the data source name (DSN). You can use the built-in Microsoft ODBC Data Source Administrator to configure the DSN. This is also the last step of the driver installation. See the "Getting Started" chapter in the help documentation for a guide to using the Microsoft ODBC Data Source Administrator to create and configure a DSN.
Access接続の設定方法
ローカルファイルへの接続設定
ローカル環境からAccess への接続は非常にシンプルです。ConnectionType をLocal に設定することで、CRUD 操作（SELECT、INSERT、UPDATE、DELETE）をすべて実行できます。接続にはDataSource プロパティに以下のようなAcces sデータベースファイルのフルパスを指定します。
C:\Users\Public\Documents\MyDatabase.accdb
詳細な接続手順については、ヘルプドキュメントの「はじめに」セクションをご参照ください。
クラウドストレージ上のAccess ファイルへの接続設定
各種クラウドストレージに保存されているAccess ファイルへのアクセスにも対応しています。ただし、クラウド上のファイルに対するデータ操作は、INSERT、UPDATE、DELETE に制限されますのでご注意ください。
S3、Google Driver、OneDrive など、各種クラウドストレージ内のAccess ファイルへの接続方法はこちらの記事をご確認ください。
クラウド上のファイルを更新したい場合は、以下の手順で実施いただけます。
- 対応するCData ドライバーを利用し、クラウドサービスからAccess ファイルをダウンロード
- Access ドライバーを使用して、ローカル環境でファイルを編集
- クラウドサービス用ドライバーのストアドプロシージャを使用して、更新ファイルをアップロード
具体例として、SharePoint 上のファイルを更新する場合の手順をご紹介します。
- CData SharePoint ドライバーのDownloadDocument プロシージャを使用してファイルを取得
- CData Access ドライバーでファイルの更新を実施
- SharePoint ドライバーのUploadDocument プロシージャで更新内容を反映
DataSource 接続プロパティの設定について補足いたします。接続先のクラウドストレージを識別するための一意の接頭辞を指定し、続けて目的のファイルパスまたはフォルダパスを記述します。フォルダを指定した場合は1ファイルが1テーブルとして、単一ファイルの場合は単一テーブルとして扱われます。
SQL Gateway の設定
See the SQL Gateway Overview to set up connectivity to Access のデータ as a virtual MySQL database. You will configure a MySQL remoting service that listens for MySQL requests from clients. The service can be configured in the SQL Gateway UI.
Access データ のFEDERATED サーバーおよびテーブルを作成
After you have configured and started the service, create a FEDERATED server to simplify the process of creating FEDERATED tables:

The following statement will create a FEDERATED server based on the ODBC Driver for Access. Note that the username and password of the FEDERATED server must match a user account you defined on the Users tab of the SQL Gateway.
CREATE SERVER fedAccess FOREIGN DATA WRAPPER mysql OPTIONS (USER 'sql_gateway_user', PASSWORD 'sql_gateway_passwd', HOST 'sql_gateway_host', PORT ####, DATABASE 'CData Access Sys');
FEDERATED テーブルの作成
To create a FEDERATED table using our newly created server, use the CONNECTION keyword and pass the name of the FEDERATED server and the remote table (Orders). Refer to the following template for the statement to create a FEDERATED table:
CREATE TABLE fed_orders ( ..., ordername TYPE(LEN), freight TYPE(LEN), ..., ) ENGINE=FEDERATED DEFAULT CHARSET=latin1 CONNECTION='fedAccess/orders';
NOTE: The table schema for the FEDERATED table must match the remote table schema exactly. You can always connect directly to the MySQL remoting service using any MySQL client and run a SHOW CREATE TABLE query to get the table schema.
クエリの実行
You can now execute queries to the Access FEDERATED tables from any tool that can connect to MySQL, which is particularly useful if you need to JOIN data from a local table with data from Access. Refer to the following example:
SELECT fed_orders.ordername, local_table.custom_field FROM local_table JOIN fed_orders ON local_table.foreign_ordername = fed_orders.ordername;
